I recently conducted a survey with 20+ peers about sleep, conducted through Google forms. A link can be found below to all the raw data and results.

62.5% surveyed believe that they do not get enough sleep per night, 26.1% believe the do get acceptable sleep.
56.5% of people get less than 8 hours on an average school night, which is the lowest recommended sleep for teens.
78.3% get over 9 hours of sleep on weekends, which suggests that people often sleep very little on the weekdays and sleep in a lot on weekends
56% gets to sleep at around 10-12 o’clock, with over 10% staying up past midnight.
When I looked at what people do before going to bed, many results included a lot of staying up with their phones or computers. This is big news because certain wavelengths of light a certain amount of time before bed can have a significant effect on the way we sleep. Many people shower, read or do homework. Apparently the rest of the results involve “Your mom,” so I’m regarding those as false data.
If you want to see the rest of the data I’m leaving you with a link to all the results if you want to take a look yourself.
The survey is still open! You can take it at this link if you are between the ages of 20 and 12.
